Library Club Members Perform Many Tasks For Librarians; f Business Club Provides Outlet ' For Commercial Interests. •I i Checking books in and out, straightening shelves and making bookcovers are a few of the jobs of the members of the Library Club. These members maintain the order required of a library, and also try to keep an adequate number of books on hand for all students. The Library Club has a District meeting twice a year and Tunstall tries to be present. Students taking a business curriculum at Tunstall are eligible for membership in the Business Club. This club supplements the Business department by helping students better comprehend the world of business and the opportunities that it holds for them and by helping the students to develop the characteristics of leadership.

Quill and ScroU Rewards Work On Publications The QUILL AND SCROLL, whose pur- pose is to encourage and reward individual achievement in journalism, was first founded at the University of Iowa in 1926 by Dr. George H. Gallup. The QUILL AND SCROLL is composed of juniors and seniors whose scholastic aver- age ranks in the upper third of their class. These students are eligible for membership if they have contributed work or shown inter- est in the newspaper or yearbook. The ad- visors must recommend and approve all nominated students. It is considered an honor and a reward for journalistic achieve- ment to be a member of the QUILL AND SCRQLL. QUILL AND SCROLL - FIRST ROW: Joanna Bowman, Suzanne Payne.
