Randy Dickey shoots at the goal. The 86 T-Bird boys' soccer team featured a tough defense and a strong offense which combined to produce many exciting matches. The tough defense allowed less than two goals per game and the high powered offense scored almost four goals per game. The senior dominated team was led by seniors Carew Halleck, one of the Black Hills League leading scorers, and team high scorers Scott Sandeno and Randy Dickey.

The girls' softball team was led by returning letter winners Diana Walker, Lisa Liukko, Renea Martin, Linda Fergustrom and Deana Rutt. The returning players provided leadership to the young and mostly inexperienced players. The team got off to a slow start by by mid season there was much improvement.
