Chris Sieg: 829. Starter at cornerback. Recovered three fumbles and had two blocked passes. Pat Dene': 882. First year player. Voted most inspirational by T-Bird teammates. Forrest Buckallew: 836. First year T- Bird. Wild Bunch, special teamsplayer. Bo Gilbert: 831. Three year letterman. All BHL Honorable Mention linebacker. Voted T-Bird Defensive Player of the Year. Team captain and team leader with 110 tackles. Doug Jones: 820. Three year letterman. First team All BHL defensive cornerback. Caught 24 passes for 416 yards. Made four interceptions, returned one for a touchdown. Terry Sutherland: 853. Three year letterman. T-Bird Best Blocker, team captain. Second Team All BHL Blocker. Ryan Whitney: 824. Never Surrender was the -1985 football team's motto. Through a great deal of hard work and determination, the team finished the season with a 6-3 record, one game out of first place. Highlights of the season for the T-Birds were defeating the two BHL teams that went on to the state playoffs and having a six game winning streak.
