EXCHANGE STUDENTS run'-f Tumwater High School's student body was not only increased by a large freshman class but also by six exchange students from four dif- ferent countries , Though studying took up a large part of their time, Rieko Nonaka and lzumi Nojiri, two Japanese exchange students managed to fit volleyball into their schedules . The only male exchange student was John Antoniadis, who came from Greece. He was an immense help to the swim team by timing at the meets. Ute Gniewoss and Doris Willer came from Germany. Doris kept up her musical studies by participating in band. From the South American country of Chile came Ximina Islas' . These exchange students helped to add variety to the life of Tumwater High . For many students it was a chance to learn the customs and ways of other people in far away countries.
