SENIOR PROPHECY The year is 2000 A.D. and the scene is in the attic. Granny is searching for her extra set of false teeth in her trunk when she comes upon a shoe box, stuffed with old news- paper clippings and the like. She takes them one by one and soon becomes absorbed. Tully Times headlines in 1960-Graduate RN, Mary Ann Baker and local Agriculturalist Richard Dockstater elope to California where they intend to raise-peaches! The Tully Times was soon to become the most widely circulated periodical on the East Coast, with local Tully graduate, Linda White as Editor, whose life ambition was to be a journalist. Robert Steger, a Summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse College of Forestry, has now attained the position of chief Forest ranger atop Truxton Hill. Competition gets stiffer as it gets closer, doesn't it Carol? Apulia Station has finally gained fame on account of the newly created Briggs and Brown Art Studio. On the side, Shirley and Dick have found it necessary to reopen the Apulia School. Richard Gardner, who we could see was destined to fame, has now reached the position of Chief Flag Raiser on Staten Island. In his spare time, he practices his rivival speeches and plans to soon replace Billy Graham! Phil Reitano wandered for many years from place to place, seeking work in an orchestra as a trumpeter. He now has his own dance band and recently appeared in Carnegie Hall. Dale Mortis deserted the Navy because he was continually sea sick. Instead, he thought it best to remain stationary and so enlisted in the Army, he's a career man now! Donna Mayerle took a post graduate course at Tully Central in order to keep track of Harold. In more recent years, they've been raising Brownies Barbara Maahs, after much indecisiveness, attended Cortland State Teachers, majoring in Physical Education. She now administers a Recreation Center in Otisco. Lynn Usher, having acquired much knowledge handling money for the Class of '56, was recently appointed President of the Small Change Incorporated, a branch of the United States Treasury. Maggie Chapman and Bob Shute have decided to retire from Grange and enter the coal business. They are now raising little Shutes. Susan Trach has gained her fame and fortune as the country's most prominent member of the society TAEHC! Jack Weisbrodt was recently appointed Secretary of Agriculture after gaining much experience working on farms surrounding Tully. Carol Krause, tired from chasing Bob, finally gave up and married Johnny! Davie Hoefer, having been jilted innumerable times, is now a leader in the world's largest YMCA. Mary Ryan, having become well acquainted with Phys. Ed. Cortland Cadets in High School, changed all of her previous plans and is now Supervisor of male practice teachers there. Maggie Hoag is now operating the Hoag Learn to Fly businessg the one-easy--lesson school! The Driver's Ed. course really helped, right, Mag? jim Hallenbeck, having gained practical experience, is now a national TV star under the name of Dude Wrangler alias, Terry Golden. Elinor Piper's ability to play basketball was brought forth in the Faculty-Senior game where a talent scout from the Harlem Globetrotters signed her immediately as appointed executive of the national committee on the Inflation of Basketballs. Bob Abbott, climaxing his brilliant career in school, is now Professor of Mathematics at Skidmore. After creating and patenting a self-service Snack Wagon, Janet Glasgow retired on her first million. Having inherited his driving ability from an old art teacher of his, Clair Fuller is now the Proprietor of the Junk Yard, the largest of its type this side of the Mississippi. From her summer's work in Canada, Louise Comstock seemed to have gained much experience. This came to view when she took over Apulia's best loved Pizza Palace! Marshall Neuman established the first speedway in Tully's history. Anyway, Marshall's driving fstreetj has improved. Destined for fame, Peg Murphy, after receiving several education degrees at Cortland State, recently replaced Frances Horowitz on Ding-Dong School! Trilby Aldrich and Bev Kehrer leaped-over Niagara Falls in a barrel. Trilby, having received life saving instructions, swam away. Poor Bev was left to drown. Bob Aldrich, through previous connections, has recently been appointed Warden of the Rome State School. Mary Louise Drumm married Fred Stone. They now are in the pebble business. Recent reports from Mexico indicate that Caroline Fellows is,-one of the 10 most un- wanted criminals there. The shoe box empty, Marilyn Brown descends the attic stairs into the playroom of her estate on Skidmore Campus where she is confronted by her 75 howling kiddies! She is now in the state of exhaustion for this reminiscence has proved to be most trying.

A .If 'J ' The beginning of our junior year started with a magazine contest. We participated in a number of other activities including a turkey supper in the fall along with a dance. The second semester started with a food sale, another dance and a paper drive. To round out our activity program we held the junior Prom at the end of the year.
