Student Council members acted as guides during the session and attempted to answer the endless questions about the school and faculty from the bewildered sophomores. The orientation began with an assembly and later the sopho- mores were divided according to homerooms where they were familiarized with their sched- ules. The newly constructed vocational wing of- fers different fields of study for the students. Cosmetology opens up a unique course for girls interested in grooming and beauty tech- niques. Vocational drafting, electronics, and auto mechanics make school courses attrac- tive to boys while office practices trains stu- dents for future jobs in business.
