Tullahome 33-McMinnville 0 The Wildcats scored 26 points in the tirst half and went on to take an impressive 33 to 0 victory over the McMinnville Bulldogs. Frank Mullins raced for three touchdowns While Jack Daniel and Allan Colyar made the other two. Tommy Pyle contributed three extra points. Tullahoma 32-Cookeville 20 The Wildcats journeyed to Cookeville the following weekend and came home with a hard fought 32 to 20 victory. Frank Mullins started the scoring with a beautiful 80 yard punt return. Mullins followed with three more touchdowns and passed to Ed Winton for the other. Tommy Pyle kicked two extra points. Tulle home 38-Shelbyville 7 The 'Cats, now championship-minded, con- tinued their winning streak with a 38 to 7 win at the expense of Shelbyville's Golden Eagles. Frank Mullins raced for four touchdowns, Ed Winton recovered a fumble for a touchdown, and Tommy Pyle caught a pass for the other. Pyle also kicked two extra points. Tullahoma 20-Murfreesboro I3 The Wildcats fought hard the next week as they took a 20 to 13 win over a fine Murfrees- boro team. After the Tigers had scored first, Frank Mullins broke loose and raced 62 yards to even the score. Mullins plunged over in the second period to put the 'Cats ahead. Tullahoma I9-Franklin County 7 The Wildcats took a step closer to the conference crown as they rocked Franklin County 19 to 7 for their seventh win of the season. A. at Franklin, Tennessee. to play their ninth game of the season. The Wildcats came home after playing on a wet. muddy field with a 27 to 0 victory. Frank Mullins was again the sparkplug with one touchdown and many fine runs. Jack Daniel opened the scoring with a beautiful 80 yard run. Jack Hagewood scored on a 23 yard run while Dale Ray caught a pass for the other. Tommy Pyle added the extra point. Tullahoma 38-Fayetteville 0 Fayetteville came to Tullahoma the following weekend and went away with a 38 to 0 defeat. After a scoreless first half, Frank Mullins broke loose for five touchdowns on mighty fine runs while Tommy Pyle caught a pass for the other. Pyle also kicked two extra points. Tullahoma 52-Manchester 6 Manchester's heart was set on upsetting the ,Cats in their final game, but they were unable to do so as the Wildcats raced to a slaughtering 52 to 6 victory. Pete Andrews opened the scoring on a five yard plunge. Frank Mullins followed with four touchdowns while Jack Daniel accounted for two and Jack Hagewood one.
