They have some good ideas when it comes to ways to make money. Several in this class are high achievers and make the most of their abilities. Bill Schneider wrote this: The Sophomores of 1987-1988 remind me of the saying, 'Great people with extraordinary amounts of determination'. As Mary Lou Moreno states it: “The Sophomore class has been very involved this school year. They took part in the RAP competition, homecoming skit competition, the skateboard competition, as well as other various competitions. They have achieved highly. As Dorothy Hulsey states her opinion: “It’s always refreshing to become aquainted with every class entering Tulia High School. This sophomore class has its uni- que set of personalities and abilities. I expect grest achievements from them. Another statement given by Judy Stewart is: I have worked with this class for two years as sponsor. I have always found this class willing to do anything I’ve ask- ed. Scphcmcres Are Halfway There The sophomores have done ex- tremely well this year. They have achieved highly in every aspect of high school. A few of their achievements are: helping in the J.V. fooball, basketball, band, and well above average grades. They are enjoying only having two more years of high school. They are showing their feelings for T.H.S. with their participation in activities as well as the smiles on their faces. The next two years at T.H.S. will show great leadership and hope for the future just because of the up- perclass leaders. The sophomore class nominated Stephanie as Miss Flame With Jason as her escort, one wouldn't think she could lose!
