JUNIORS Junior Class Officers: Mary Catherine Hatcher. President; Sandy Hawthorne. Vice-President; Richard Bice. Secretary The juniors spent most of the year preparing to be seniors. The prom was a main concern this year. The juniors worked hard at their haunted house, dance, bake sale, car wash, and slave sale. The juniors also showed leadership in many school activities. The juniors are definitely on the road to becoming super seniors. The junior class sponsors were Mrs. Hulsey, Mrs. Stewart. Mr. Love, Mr. Schneider. Mrs. McWhirter, Mrs. Ontiveros, and Mrs. Sewell. Senior Prophecies CY ALLEN is running the Tulia Feed Lot which is producing the famous Japanese Kole Beef — fattening them on beer. ALICE ALVAREZ is a professional hairdresser. D ANDERSON has become a Sumo wrestler and won the Chinese National Wrestling Contest. LISA ANDRUS is a professional photographer for Playgiri magazine. TERESA APL1N is a down hill Alpine skiier. DAVID CABE is a “roadie ” for Ronnie James DIO. MARCELLA CHAVEZ got stuck in the elevator doors and no longer has bow legs. ANGELA COBB is the new Ms. Cobb of THS and weighs 400 pounds. MICHELLE CHAVEZ is the mayor of Kress. DONALD CHILRESS is the new Secretary of Education in Texas. Can the students really learn only going to school 3 days a year, Donald? STANNA COBB is now an instructor for defensive driving classes in Tulia. NORMAN CORDOVA has finally bought new tires, put a tailgate on and painted his pickup. MIKE CRUZ is serving time in Marine prison at Ft. Leavenworth for assaulting his female DI. CHARMAYNE DALLUGE has become president of Mary Kay Cosmetics. DANA DAVEY is a “lady of the evening” on the verge of bankruptcy. CHARLOTTE DUNN is still married to Clinton and has 19 children. MICHAEL FLOWERS is touring Eastern Europe and is using Liberace’s wardrobe. TINA GARCIA finally changed her reed in band and has become the band director of THS. JOE GARRISON had a formal debate with Karl Sagen and won. Now director of Geo Physics at Harvard but had first prize taken away when he developed a brain tumor and became stupid. DON GOODWIN and SIDNEY PATTERSON are producers of Breaking 35. BRIAN HINKLE’s whereabouts are unknown. COCO HURD won the 1992 Olympics, but yelled so hard she lost her voice. SONYA JOHNSON finally had her first date at 28, and she didn’t even hold his hand. KATI JONES had opened up her own cleaning service and is “Kati the cleaning lady.” DINA JOY’s freckles ran together and she got a tan, after laying out for 20 years. HEATH KNUTSON changed the pronunciation of his name and opened “Knustson’s Nut Factory.” KIM McCAIN developed a new shake, MacDonald’s bought it. DORA MENDEZ took a growing spree, she is 7 feet, 6 inches tall and the first THS graduate to be contracted by the NBA. RAY MENDEZ is a border patrol guard for the TEX MEX border and is being audited for IRS unreported income. DANNY MESSICK and BRIAN WILLIAMS own their own Dallas chain pharmacy. TRENT MORRIS has won the Masters. SHELLY MOTE is still trying to gain weight and make up her mind about boys. MATTHEW MURFF, at last word, hijacked a Coors Light truck to Santiago, Chile; where he was seen being abducted by Amazon women. GARY O’DANIEL is the new conductor of the Lawrence Welk Show. TERRY ROSSI is the new owner of B R and has opened stores in Happy, Kress, and OGG. MELISSA SCHULTE has finally found her family roots in a Pygmy village in the Congo. EDDIE SHELTON has taken over the Tulia Athletic Dept, and runs it as his predecessor, Mike Sullivan, did. BALDY SUBLEADEA is moonlighting as a priest in Juarez BILL TURNER has opened a new line of clam-digger pants. JANNA WALKER is still trying to catch up on her Geometry homework. MINDI WHITE, after 8 rich husbands, married a deaf gas station attendant and lived happily ever after off the alimony. STEVE YOUNG moved to Japan and became a Sumo wrestler. 27
