The Sophomores were very active in THS this year. Led by Mr. Wilfong (head sponsor) and Mrs. Sprawls (fund raising chairperson), the Sophomores competed in all contests between the classes. To raise money for the class, they sold tickets for a stereo raffle. Mrs. Cobb, Mrs. Edwards, Mr. Lair, and Mr. Love were other Sophomore Class sponsors. Webster may have gotten his definition right, but the word sophomoric in that sense does not apply to this class. I am proud to be the principal of such an organization. Most of our time spent in school, we are thinking of the future; let us not forget that we are not only preparing for the future but we are living a life from day to day.
