1979 Hornet Volume XXX Tulia High School Tulia, Texas PEOPLE 10 PEOPLE and What They Do 56 Special PEOPLE 146 Business PEOPLE 172 All the tiny pieces fit 2 5 . . the picture is incomplete Administration My job as principal this year has been made much easier because of the people with whom I have been associated. I would like to express my appre- ciation to the teachers for their excellent spirit of cooperation and hard work. The accomplishments of our students this year shows a keen interest in their school and commu- nity. Because of these attitudes, the school year of 1978-1979 has been an enjoyable one for me. The 1978-1979 school year has been exciting and pleasurable because of the enthusiasm of the student body and the expertise of our faculty. I would like to thank the students of THS for their interest in making this the best school possi- ble and the teachers for caring about students individually. Because of their efforts, my job is very enjoyable. A stern reproach .. . Where are the kids who earned ’em? “Why they've all gone on to greater things.” Say the teachers they left who learned 'em. Cut out all seeds of unkind thoughts; All unhappy emotions; Remove all worries and doubts. Then add: One firm belief that life is worth living. Mix well with the practical idea That you ARE somebody! Season with a sense of humor and optimism, Sweeten with love, Then add one strong determination To live life at its fullest Every hour of the day — Come what will.
