THE CLASS CON' SISTED OF DALE PRICE, LETHA KOPPLIN, SCOTT BENNING, LINDA AMES, NORMAN NOWELL, MARLENE FOGLESONG, DAVID FRENCH, GARY NEITZEL, LEOTA KOPPLIN, HARRY COCKRELL, GENE FOUNTAIN, DONNA FLIEHE, AND ALAN SCHULT2. LETHA WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE CLASS AND SHE REPRESENTED US IN THE STUDENT COUNCIL. NORMAN WAS ELECTED VICE' PRESIDENT AND DAVID WAS ELECTED SECRETARYTTREASURER. THE FIRST HIGHLIGHT OF OUR FRESHMAN DAYS WAS INITIA- TION BY THE SENIORS. DALE, ALAN S., NORMAN, HARRY, SCOTT, DAVID, AND GENE PARTICIPATED IN BOYS' SPORTS. ALL OF THE GIRLS WENT OUT FOR GIRLS' PHYSICAL EDUCATION. FRESHMEN PARTICIPATING IN BAND WERE LETHA, LEOTA, LINDA, DAVID, AND DONNA. THOSE IN CHORUS WERE DALE, LETHA, NORMAN, DAVID, SCOTT, LEOTA, LINDA, GENE, AND DONNA. THOSE TAKING PART IN DECLAM WERE DONNA, LEOTA, AND LETHA. FRESHMAN BOYS BELONGING TO FFA WERE SCOTT: NORMAN, DAVID, ALAN S., GENE, GARY, HARRY, AND DALE. GIRLS BELONGING TO FHA WERE MARLENE AND LEOTA. ONE OF' THE BIG EVENTS OF' THE FRESHMAN YEAR WAS THE SWEETHEARTS BALL. WE DECORATED THE ALLTPURPOSE ROOM FOR THIS OCCASION WITH THE HELP OF OUR ADVISOR, MR. MELVIN SINIEK. MARLENE AND NORMAN WERE ELECTED PRINCESS AND PRINCE. DAVID WAS AN ATTENDANT. WE WERE GUESTS AT THE JUNIORTSENIOR PROM. WE ENDED A VERY MEIVIORABLE FRESHMAN YEAR WITH A PICNIC AT COTTONWOOD LAKE. WE ALL RETURNED OUR SOPHOMORE YEAR EXCEPT NORMAN NOWELL. MARLENE WAS ELECTED OUR CLASS PRESIDENT, DAVID, VICETPRESIDENT, AND ALAN S., SECRETARYTTREASURER. MARLENE REPRESENTED OUR CLASS IN STUDENT COUNCIL. THOSE PARTICIPATING IN FOOTBALL WERE SCOTT, GENE, DALE, DAVID, ALAN S., AND HARRY. THOSE TAKING PART IN BASKETBALL WERE GENE, SCOTT, DALE, ALAN S., AND HARRY. THOSE PARTICIPATING IN TRACK WERE DALE, HARRY, GENE ALAN S., AND SCOTT. DAVID FRENCH TRANSFERRED TO RAPID CITY AT THE END OF THE FIRST SEMESTER. ALL THEGIRLS PARTICIPATING IN GIRLS' PHYSICAL EDUCATION. THOSE IN BAND WERE LETHA, LINDA, LEOTA, AND DONNA. MARLENE WAS A CHEERLEADER AND LIBRARIAN. MARLENE, LEOTA, AND ALAN S. WERE ROYALTY ATTENDANTS. ALL THE BOYS BELONGED TO FFA AND ALL THE GIRLS BELONGED TO FHA. WE WERE GUESTS AT THE JUNIORTSENIOR PROM AND FINISHED OUR TENTH GRADE WITH A PICNIC AT COTTONWOOD LAKE. WE ALL RETURNED FOR OUR JUNIOR YEAR WITH ALAN MC NEILL AND KENNY HUBER JOINING OUR CLASS. OUR CLASS CJFFICERS WERE SCOTT, PRESIDENT, MARLENE, SECRETARYTTREASURER, ALAN S., VICE"'PRESIDENT, AND LETHA STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE. OUR ADVISORS WERE MISS JANICE MILLER AND MR. DONALD ARCHER. OUR BIG HIGHLIGHT FOR THE YEAR WAS OUR THREETACT COMEDY PLAY, HTHE ANTICS OF ANDREW,H UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MISS MARTHA KOESTER. ALL THE JUNIOR BOYS EXCEPT ALAN IVI. , BELONGED TO FFA. ALL THE JUNIOR GIRLS EXCEPT DONNA BELONGED TO FHA. ALL OF THE GIRLS PARTICIPATED IN GIRLSI PHYSICAL EDUCATION. THE BOYS TAKING PART IN FOOTBALL WERE ALAN M., ALAN S., SCOTT, KENNY, HARRY, GENE, AND DALE. THOSE TAKING PART IN BASKETBALL WERE- KENNY, ALAN M., DALE, HARRY, AND SCOTT, OUR TRACK BOYS WERE ALAN M., HARRY, DALE, KENNY, AND SCOTT. THOSE IN BAND WERE LINDA, DONNA, LETHA, AND LEOTA. LINDA WAS IN THE CLARINET CIUARTETZ. THOSE IN CHORUS WERE DALE, SCOTT, LETHA, LEOTA, DONNA, AND ALAN NI. DALE, ALAN IVI-, AND SCOTT WERE IN THE BOYS' GLEE CLUB. DONNA, DALE, LETHA, AND LEOTA TOOK PART IN DECLAIVI. MARLENE WAS A CHEERLEADER AND LIBRARIAN. OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR WERE RECEIVING OUR CLASS RINGS AND PUTTING ON A PROM FOR THE SENIORS WHICH WAS DECORATED AROUND THE THEME, HFANTASY OF THE SEA.H WE CLOSED OUR JUNIOR YEAR WITH A PICNIC AT COTTONWOOD LAKE. ELEVEN STUDENTS RETURNED IN THE FALL OF I962 FOR OUR SENIOR YEAR WITH KENNY HUBER TRANSFERRING TO HIGH' MORE AND DONNA FLIEHE TRANSFERRING TO REDFIELD. DALE WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT, LEOTA VICE'PRESIDENT: LINDA SECRETARYTTREASURERQ AND ALAN S. STUDENT COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE. LETHA WAS ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE STUDENT BODY. ALL THE GIRLS BELONGED TO FHA. THE BOYS THAT BELONGED TO FFA WERE ALAN S., ALAN M., GARY, GENE, AND HARRY. ALLL BOYS PARTICIPATED IN FOOTBALL EXCEPT ALAN IVI.
