SENIOR CLASS . HISIO RY Class Motto: Strive To Conquer The Unconquerabie Glass Colors: Lavender and Yellow Class Flower: Pink Carnaticn 0n the first day of the '47 school year seven breve Freshmen climbed the steps of Tulare High, beginning their High School Career. They were: Roger Denker, Dale Cockrell, Glenn Nowell, Gerald Binger, Clinton Stoner, Raymond Ernster and Delores Meyer. The first big event of the year came during the second week of school, this was the Freshmen initiation. That even- ing 2. party was given in the Freshmens honor, making them full fledged members of T. H. S. The year ended with the school picnic at Cottonwood Lake. . In the Sephomore year the members of the Class were: Glenn Nowell, Gerald Ringer, Clinton Stoner, Delores Meyer, and George metein. Glen Nox-Iell quit during the first semester. This year the school had a swell time for their picnic at Cottonwood Lake. ' The Class which had dwindled to four eagerly started the Junior year. The main event of the year was our play, Bolts and Nuts which WS 3. big success. The last main event of the year wns the Junior-Senior Banquet held at Huron. The banquet had a cowboy theme and the table wes decorated with covered wagons guns and holsters. This year for our picnic the High School went to Huron for a picnic dinner and a roller skating party. All the students returned for the Senior year and two new members, Cleone end Leon Walton were added to the Class. The Senior play, Auntie's Money was the first main event of the year. The Seniors were guests at the traditional Junior-Senior Banquet and everyone had a swell time .. Commencement exercises were held on may 23, and we were very happy to receive our diplomas.
