Y The Tulare arrived in Maizaru which is a small seaport on the west central coast oi llonshu on the 8th of December. A party aiven by the mayor was one of the hiah- liahts oi our stay in Maizuru as was the tour taken by many of the crew to the beautiful city oi Kyoto Which is the cultural center oi lapan. Cn the Way to Kyoto We all proved to be aood samaritans When we hauled a lapanese car out oi a ditch alona the side di the road.
