In addition, the maintenance of the many electrical motors and cables on board, particularly those associated with the hatch winches, falls under the cognizance of this division, Such items as ship's navigational lights and lighted signalling equipment are also checked daily by the Electricians. The IC Electricians maintain the ship's gyroscop-Ere, sound powered phones and their associated circuits, elenclrical communication CMCJ systems and emergency alarm systems.
