Miss Anna E. Many, Counselor to Wonnen, three times Acting Dean, Professor of Mathennatlcs, and a person without whonn we cannot imagine Newcomb, defies Gaylord hiauseur. Spurning yogurt and wheat germ, she retains an unbelievably youthful vitality by simply working out the problems of seven hundred some- odd students and, we dare say, some faculty, one by one, and realizing that most of them are not, as the sti ' dents think, impossible. When university students, and especially Newcomb students, see Miss Many, the smile given her, as the smile received, is not polite, but spontaneous.
