—One thing that freshmen can ' t appreciate is co-ed dorms. Our class is the last one able to appreciate the values of co-ed dorms, because we didn ' t have them our freshmen year. —Too many students sit around smoking dope, listening to records, and watching T.V. There is too mush apathy. But that ' s not the problem with Tufts, it ' s prolonged adolescence. Kids don ' t have any responsibility here. Their parents are supporting them and that ' s true at all colleges.

—Our dorm was never together. One thing that has brought us together recently is that we got a couple of pinball machines in the basement.

—You wanna play chess?. . . too bad. I ' ve been pretty heavily into chess lately. We play so that if one guy ' s getting wiped, you don ' t play the game out, and if you make a really weak move, you can take it back. We toke and play. You can really get into it. 25
