—It ' s a place where opportunity doesn ' t knock on your door. You have to go out and actively pursue it. When I came here I sat around and waited for something to happen. I ' m really depressed about the people who spend all four years here doing that. A lot of people sit in their rooms and watch TV and piddle away their time. A lot of people have accepted the doldrums and aren ' t doing anything about it. I feel like I ' m beating my head against the wall when I try to get people off their asses to help. I get a lot of criticism for doing that. 7

—I came to Tufts expecting to learn a whole lot of things, gaining some insight into what I wanted to do. I kept waiting for something to click. But it never did.
