JUNIOR-SENIOR BANQUET AND PROM Mardi Gras! The air is filled with excitement: this is a magic night - the night of the Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom. The boys are strangely mature in their white dinner jackets as they call for their dates. The girls put the finishing touches on their hair, and they are ready to go. Everyone is beautiful on this night of nights. Victor Copeland, Master of Ceremonies, welcomes the guests. Gary Foote, Lon Cottingham, and Jay White place the silhouettes on the back wall. Bobby Adcock, Senior Class President, presents Howard Kinkead, Junior Class President, with the traditional hatchet. There is noisy chatter as the couples gather in the cafeteria before the banquet starts. The Seniors are nostalgic as they remember last year's big event, but they cannot remain so, for this is a gay, a happy, time. The banquet was served by the Seniors of 1960.
