George Hunt, for- merly Assistant Principal of Student Affairs, replaced Andy Tolson as head of the school. Mr. Hunt established a faculty council as one of his first acts as Principal. The coun- cil worked toward better communication be- tween the administration and faculty. Also new to his position, but not to Tuc- son High was John Mallamo. Mr. Mallamo, previously head football coach, took charge of Student Affairs. Mr. Hendrickson, Assis- tant Principal of Student Personnel, instituted zero hour classes for seniors to prevent a pos- sibility of split sessions for Tucson High.
