Out of 2,800 pupilsfsome must get the urge once in a while, especially when they don't have to go to detention. Sixty-five courses are offered for pupils who comet to really study. A popular course for women is practical home mechanics, where they learn to repair broken wires, patch cement and mend electric appliances The history of evening school began in 1943 when apprentice classes were held. They expanded in 1950 when our voca- tional building was completed. Several classes that resulted were: lip-reading, painting, auto mechanics, refrigeration, and many others.
