if- LQ if P H ROBERT D. MORROW Superintendent of Schools Keeping everybody working together is my main iob, says Mr. Robert D. Morrow, superintendent of Tucson Public Schools. During his term, Mr. Morrow has seen the Tucson school enrollment soar upward from 12,000 in 1941 to approximately 25,000 this year. Carson, three years ago, became Assistant Superintendent, of Schools in charge of co-ordi- nation of the selection of personnel and cur- riculum. Twin duties belong to Rollin T. Gridley, principal of Adult Evening School and vice- principal of THS. Earning his degrees at Arizona and Wis- consin, he became THS coach in 1937. Ten years later he became vice-principal. ROLLIN T. The immensity of his iob is indicated by the fact that, as principal of THS, he has charge of some 3,300 students and a faculty of 143. A fact that may surprise some people is that before becoming principal he coached base- ball and cub football. Some teachers have as many extra-curricular activities as the students. Such a teacher is Gs MISS CALANTHE BRAZELTON Dean of Girls Miss Calanthe Brazelton. Aside from the duties as Dean of Girls she sponsors Honor Service Society and Junior Red Cross. Boys need guidance as well as girls. Doing a fine iob as Dean of Boys is Mr. Herb Cooper.
