H Music to the ears of everyone on flight quarters. While on the line, flight quarters were set most of the day to launch and land Big Mother, Clem One, and Log Helo's. Big Mother and Clem One were car- ried on board to help TRUXTUN carry out her assigned tasks while stationed in the Tonkin Gulf. The CNO and other VIP's used TRUXTUN INTERNATIONAL to help complete over 1000 safe landings. To all the men who -spent many an hour at flight quarters TRUXTUN INTERNATIONAL seems less than glamorous ..... there was no personal mail on the Log Helo today. C O ARRIVI Admiral Zumwalt is the ans- wer to the enlisted man's prayer. A man of action, the C.N.O. is fast changing the tradition-bound Navy to make it livable. f During his May visit to TRUX - TUN, the men turned out in force to hear what he had to say. Ques- tions were asked and straight an- swers were given, a refreshing change. A Admiral Zumwalt asked for a show of hands from the rated men in favor of non-rated men wear- ing civilian clothes to and from the ship. Almost all agreed that they should be allowed to wear civies . Two months later, another Zumwalt - Zonker authorized non-rated men to keep civies on board and wear them to and from the ship. Here's hoping that people like him will be the trend and not just a passing trend. 1 ,Q Ji
