Iwi .4 Flag Presentation On 10 December 1968, TRUXTUN was honored by the Los Angeles Council of the Navy League of the United States with the presentation of a Los Angeles County Flag. Los Angeles County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, who was accompanied hy Mr. Roy Olander, president of the L.A. Council, lVlr. Ross Reed, Mr. Mark Watterson, Captain Steve Parkins ffietj, and Mr. Donald Kyler, made the presentation to Captain Work. In accepting the flag, Captain Work stated it is 'can honor to accept the flag. We will display the flag around the areas of the world to which TRUXTUN will sail.'7
