6 I O To the fine people of our community . . . whose concern and foresight have opened our Doors of Op portunity . . . whose inter- est and loyal support have been so vital to our projects . . . and whose pride and confidence we have earnestly tried to be worthy of . . . the members of the senior class of '61 dedicate this yearbook. For special mention, we have singled out one of the graduates of Truro High School who has chosen to remain in our little com- munity, who has been for fifteen years a valued, versatile member of the team that performs all the less-glorious tasks that must be done to keep a school in working order. Iohn Minard--Iohnny, as most of us know him-has been Bus Driver No. 1, chief mechanic and general handyman, driver for all athletic trips and other extra-curricular activity trips, tal- ented speaker at the annual athletic banquet, and an active, forward- looking participant in school affairs for as long as any of us can remember. johnny has been generous with his time, never refusing a request, responding always with a smile. He has made a career of working for and with us, and we feel that not the least of his contributions has been the example of integrity and dedicated serv- ice he has given us.
