if v . ...fl It .iiVWA?f1f5t- .ftX ff fi? Baldwin Hall The main administrative building, Baldwin Hall, took on a new picture this past year as several personnel and office changes were made. The first change came in the President's office when Dr. F. Clark Elkins became the eighth president of the College and secondly when Dr. Arthur L. Fritschel assumed the position of Dean of Instruction. The office of President Elkins took on a new look as new light fixtures, office equipment including a desk and chair and a rectangular oak conference table and chairs were added. Art students displayed dif- ferent paintings each week in the President's office. Toward the end of the fall quarter several offices were moved including the division of Ex- tension Service Office which became the Office of the Dean of Instruction and the division of Exten- sion Service moved to the north end of Baldwin Hall in the office previously occupied by Personnel Service. The Registrar's Office expanded to encom- pass the office occupied by the Dean of Instruction and the mail room. Students completed their finan- cial obligations to the College in Baldwin Hall at the Business Office located on the first and second floors. The College Auditorium and Little Theater were the scene of a number of student productions, Lyceum programs and special guest lectures. The Fine Arts division and Language and Literature division are located on the upper floors of Baldwin Hall. Immediately east of Baldwin Hall across the campus is the laboratory school for practice teach- ers known as Ophelia Parrish or Kirksville Junior High School. College students who are seeking the teaching degree have an opportunity to participate in classroom teaching techniques. Also located in Ophelia Parrish are several Language and Literature offices.
