The President ' s Message The ECHO of 1964 is one of many year books that have been published by the students of this College. The first year book was published in 1901. It was called the Mnanieion. In the following year. 1902, its name was changed to the ECHO. This name has become familiar to thousands of students over a period of more than six decades. The ECHO this year will contain the records of our friends and classmates whom we have learned to know, cherish, and love. It will help us to remember activities and events and victories and defeats, all of which help to make our mental image of college days. No doubt this ECHO will be cherished by many, and as the years pass it will grow even dearer, for it will call back pleasant memories of yesteryear. I congratulate the Editor and his associates along with the faculty sponsor and the ECHO Board, all of whom have helped make possible this beautiful ECHO of 1964. Walter H. Ryle President
