Some students come to college for books. Others come for parties. But the majority of students who come to KSTC have a broader goal in mind. They come to the Teachers College first to learn facts and then to learn how to apply them. For the enterprising student the campus is a community with all the cultural and social opportunities of a metropolis. Every week the stage is set for spectacular entertainment---classical or jazz, international celebrities or student stars. Every student has his interests. Every department has its followers. And to fulfill the interests of the students and the departments there are lectures and activities every week. This is campus life at KSTC. Not just books and classes. Not merely parties. But dances and plays, concerts and lectures, work and play are all an intricate part of the life in this campus com- munity.
