He serves as ex- officio member of the Board of Regents. For the ultimate authority in solving all col- lege problems it is necessary to tum to the Board of Regents. Dean ieger conquers the complexities of his office Dr. and Mrs. Rieger shown in their residence at 516 South Halliburton. If each of us will do his very best each day, then he can face his fellows and himself with the knowledge that he has done all that he can. Living such a philosophy' ably represents the calm, deliberate manner and sound judgment of our Dean of Instruction, Dr. Wray Rieger. An asset to Dr. Rieger's present position is his past experience with KSTC which began in 1927 as a laboratory assistant. He soon became an in- structor, and his ability as an educator soon mer- ited him a professorship and Head of the Division of Science and Mathematics. In 1960 he was ap- pointed Dean of Instruction. Dean Rieger has proven himself a true friend of education and a true friend of youth, one whose courage and leadership we can trust implicitly.
