Ryle, who has been President of the Northeast Missouri State Teachers College since 1937, has maintained the highest standards for the college. President Ryle, a thorough scholar, makes every effort to see that the students of the college have the best in faculty and equipment. Many improvements, both in educational programs, faculty, and in beautifying the physical aspects of the campus have been made during his years at the Teachers College. Robert Mcliiniiey, has the main function of representing the president, both on and off the campus. Having served the past three years as special assistant to the Inspector General at the Pentagon in Washington, Col. McKinney is this year serving as Inspector General of the 417th Engineer Aviation Brigade in the Far East. This office maintains the Alumni Bureau, develops a sound public rela- tions program, and prepares many of the official publications for the college.
