The Board is made up of six men selected from various parts of the district by the governor of the state. The state superintendent of schools is an ex-officio member. DEAN OF THE FACULTY Dr. L. A. Eubank, dean of the faculty, is the man who is responsible for those splendid assemblies we have had this year. He super- vises the granting of credits, gives out informa- tion about students to employers, arranges class schedules, and acts as chairman of the Curriculum Committee. The headship of the Division of Education is just one more duty which keeps him the busiest man on the campus. DEAN OF WOMEN Mrs. S. H. Ellison, dean of women, in her capacity as director of the freshman orientation program, becomes the first friend of all new students. Not only does she supervise the hous- ing of students, enforce regulations, sponsor the Pan Hellenic Council, and manage the school calendar of social functions, but no college activity is complete without her gra- cious charm as hostess. Her work is co-ordin- ated with other activities of the Division of Personnel Service. 12
