Magid. WWW . They stand watches just like we do. Tower Bridge Greenwich England was our first port visit and served a two-fold purpose. First, as an in- teresting and educational port of call. England is a country steeped in history and tradition. Greenwich is a short distance from the city of London with its numerous sights, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Parliment to mention a few. Also many modern nightclubs, shopping centers and theatres. Second, as a Bicentennal Visit. This being our nations bicentennal birthday, our visit was an important part of that celebration. Ponta Delgada, Azores On our way to join STANAVFORLANT in Kiel Germany, we made two fuel stops. First in Bermuda, even though we weren't there long enough to go ashore we saw some of the country side. Our second stop was in the Azores. Truett continued on to Greenwich England for our Bicentennial visit. After departing England, we transited the Kiel Canal. Our stay in Kiel Ger- many was a time marked by hard work, meeting new friends, and hard play. The squadron helped us celebrate the 4th of July with a picnic and sports olympiad.
