Some freshmen were introduced to Honorls English which consisted of writing the school paper. Others studied basic English. Sev- enth and Eighth graders studied all of the basic skills such as spelling, capitalization, punctua- tion, and Greek Mythology. ART Our Art classes had over a little more than 30 entries that were sent to the Kansas Scholastic Art Show. Only Jr. High, and High School were allowed to participate in this. The show was a Regional Exhibition, and was held at the Wichita Public Library, Art is an elective course that teaches basic skills of drawing wood blocks, to painting with acrylics on canvas.
