Hurricane Eloise Sweeps Through Troy. She came from the south in the night leaving a twisted scar across Alabama. She blew into Troy wretching up trees and destroying whatever got in her way. But as all storms she died. When the rains left and the debris was cleared away Troy still stood. 22

Homecoming ' 75 Homecoming ' 75 came to Troy this year with the nation ' s bicentennial as its theme. The excitement began with everyone working on floats and house displays. On Wednesday, October 22 Linda Ronstadt provided entertainment in Sartain Hall. The Thursday night pep rally brought the burning of the Lion at the annual bonfire. Saturday brought the usual bustle of excitement and hard work becoming a reality. The House displays was won by Sigma Pi Fraternity with the slogan Kick Em Back to 1776. Dill Hall won the on campus award with Dill Pickle the Lions. ' The parade was one of the best yet and the Homecoming game ended in defeat for the Trojans. Miss Donna Ray, the 1975 Homecoming Queen was crowned at half time activities. Her court included Kathy Seele, Marilyn Robinson and Susie Barr.
