oass wterORY In September, nineteen hundred and sixty, forty-six confused and excited freshmen entered the doors of Carthage-Troy High School. We elected our class officers; they were, President, Jim Perkins; Vice President, John Depoy; Secretary, Janet White; Treasurer, Roger Black and News Reporter Paul Owens. We lost four students. We sponsored a record hop as a money-making project. We began our sophomore year in nineteen hundred and sixty-one with forty-four students. We lost two students during the summer. We elected our class officers; they were, President, Mike Parker; Vice President, Barbara Zuercher; Secretary, Janet White; Treasurer, Bill Boston; and News Reporter, Carl Rosier. Candidates for the King and Queen of the P. T. A. Carnival were Mike Parker and Barbara Zuercher. We began our junior year in nineteen hundred and sixty-two with forty-two students. We lost two students during the summer and gained five, they were, Gary Courtney, Donald Buck, Shirley Lucas, Glendon Tucker, and Don Whitlock. We elected our class officers, they were, President, Bill Boston; Vice President, Paula Bailey; Secretary, Janet White; Treasurer, Nancy Gibbs; News Reporter, Okey A-hart; and Historian, Roger Black. Bill Boston and Janet White were our candidates for King and Queen at the carnival. We had a successful variety show and also a record hop as a money-making project. The theme of our Junior Prom, which took place on May eleventh, was Moon River. The Prom Princess was Janet White, and the Prom Prince was Bill Boston. We began this year, our senior year, in nineteen hundred and sixty-three. We had three new students; Rhonda Kincade, Darlene Click, and Rodney Click. We elected our class officers as follows; President, Jerry Schul; Vice President, Paula Bailey; Secretary, Janet White; Treasurer, Ronda Kincade; News Reporter, Donald Buck; and Historian, Rodney Click.
