JUNICR CLASS PLAY A play entitled It's A Great Life was given by the Junior Class on February 4, 1956. It was a romantic comedy about the Wilson household which be- came very confusing when their daughter was involved with three dates to the local club dance. The dramatic actor of the community play, Mr, Wilson, was played by Eddie McKnight, his wife, a very timid lady, was Patty Smeeks, Barbara McDonald, as Aunt Gertrude, was Mrs, Wilson's sister who practically ran the entire house. Kenny Wines, was Tommy Wilson. Harry Ladd played Ted Stokes, the neighbor boy who sympathized heartily with Mr, Wilson. Mary Wilson, who had such a mixup with her dates, was played by Mary Ford. Carl Ackley as Wilbert Wiggins, and Joe Bowers as Muscles O'Rourke were two of Mary's three dates, Theresa Grant, a movie actress who played opposite Mr. Wilson in the community play, was Janet Beyler, Isabella Birkbeck was Marie George, Mary's shy friend. Miss Alstead Billings was the interviewer from the Dumb Animals Benefit Society played by Janet Heck. Betty Murrey was the student director, Mrs. Bonnie Kendall supervised the play.

THE FUNNY BRATS', The play The Funny Brats was given by the Senior Class in October, It was a three act comedy, telling the story of a young widow and her troubles with her children and her boyfriends, The young widow, Sylvia Gresham, was played by Earlene Knottsg Tom, her eldest son, Lowell Marshall, Her children, the two brats, Dick and Harriet, were played by Morlin Dobbs and Pat Rowley, Mrs, Gresham's boyfriends were Loren, a college professor, played by Charles Taylorg Whaley, a fat, blustery man who smelled like a goat, Jeff Massie, Aurora, the maid was Patty Starkeyg and Don Jeffers played Boogerface, her boyfriend Two other characters were Lauralee, Tom's fiancee and Gwynette, played by Mary Snodgrass and Iris Metheney. Aunt Hettie, an old maiden aunt, was played by Iris Cogar,
