Then a curled up leaf appeared bearing Iris Metheney as a hairdresser in the Dave Miller Shoppe. Suddenly a red leaf swirled holding Pat Rowley knitting and petting her kittens, Earlene Knotts, Nora Parsons, and Dessie Nichols were sitting on a green leaf listening to a lecturer at O.U. Then a navy-blue leaf sailed by with Charles Taylor and Jeff Massie as Admirals on the U. S. S. OCEANLINER, Pat Starkey and Mary Lou Snodgrass as comedians on the Bob Hope Show, occupied a very gay leaf, An angry leaf seemed to be fighting something - Ronnie Williams, a bachelor in Beverly Hills, shoving the women away from him. A brown leaf appeared with Marion Smith, Patty Murphy, Don Jeffers and Dan Bernard - all married with each at the head of a happy household. A yellow leaf bounced against the cup and surely enough there were Dick Holbert and Bob Pierce in the ring with Morlin Dobbs as referee. A white leaf batted its way through till I saw Jim Wright playing baseball in the World Series. A thin crinkly leaf, brought Tom Taylor and Lowell Marshall, dancing instructors at an Arthur Murray Studio. All these leaves sank into the brown tea, one leaf remainedg on it I sat behind a desk as a lawyer, These leaves stand for health, wealth, and prosperity for America's leaders.
