suisuma uvamamaca What a nice big farm that is! It's so clean and well kept that it looks almost as if it were taken from a painting and set down there. Well, if it isn't Donald Miller's name on the barn! There's Donald him- self on that tractor out in the field. My, but he makes a handsome farmer--a Greek god in overalls. Don't push, girls. Isn't that Kathryn Jacobs going into that radio building? Why, it looks as if Kathryn is the star on that show coming on in fifteen minutes--yes, she must be. The name of the program is NKate of Honeysuckle Alley.n Good work, Kate, but we knew when we saw you on the stage and heard you on our mock radio program that you were headed for fame. Sometimes I wish I were down on earth. If I were, I'd go to that beautiful modern theater down there. Bet that would be a good play, too--Marie Brinker starring in HThe Golden Bubble.N There are rumors that Marie will act in a Shakespearean play soong she seems to have been created for those dramatic roles, Just take a look at that big dairy! Talk about ultramoderng I'd like to know what that place hasn't got--I see it even has Robert Harmeyer, which is a great asset to any dairy. When we were in high school we couldn't guess what course Bob would pursue, but he seems perfectly happy when he is in the company of his contented cows. lHe's raising pigs as a sideline.J That's really a cute uniform that girl has on. Bet the girls who drive those station wagons have fun. And look who's inside that uniform! It's none other than Iota Evans! I almost didn't recognize her. Shes really snappy-looking. And isn't that Lois Samson she's talking to? I understand Lois writes that new comic strip NAlice, the Anteatern that all the kiddies like so well. I've heard that in many homes the little dears have violent quarrels over who gets to see NAliceU first. I think I'll recline in one of these fluffy clouds and take a nap, ,Gosh, but it's been great seeing all those people who were seniors at good old T. H. S. way back in 1943. ' 19

QEENUCDU? UPUQCDUDU-1l1ESE'iY Well, here I am. I don't know how I got here, but this cloud bank certainly is nice and soft. My, how things have changed down there! Why, there's an old friend of mine--Esther Miller. Where's she going? My, but that Lily Dache hat of hers is smart. She's en- tering a huge office building, and judging from the respect she is getting from the employees, she must be important. Oh, now I see the reason--Esther's name is on the manager's door. Quite a rise from just being a secretary. It's really surprising what I can see from up here- that distinguished looking gentleman in front of the Toledo Blade building, for instance. My goodness, it's Clyde Tracy! I see by the plaque on the building that he is now the Blade's editor. He's really made progress. Why, I can remember when he used to be the boy who left the Blade on our front porch. I see that Admiral and Mrs. Brown down there are giving a ball in honor of the President. I remember her as the former Violet Schudel. She really has ris- en in society, and goodness! Isn't that husband of hers handsome! General and Mrs. McCrary are just en- tering the ballroom. I recognize Mrs. McCrary as the former Joyce Baker. When Joyce was telling us that her only ambition was to be happily married, we never dreamed she'd be hobnobbing with ambassadors' wives and such. Isn't she lovely in that original creation by Eileen? This creator of lovely gowns is none other than Eileen Barber, who introduces all the latest fads Her latest assignment is to design the gowns for Alis Alison's newest film. Mmm, isn't that Dale Grubs con- ducting that marvelous swing orchestra? That man really toots a mean trumpet--something like Harry James' style, only better. That's another example of the unexpected. Anyone who had heard the sour notes he blew in high school would be shocked to hear that lovely dance music. There's General Gene Hannan, too. I wonder what will happen when he and General McCrary get together. Just look at all those medals General Hannan is wearing! With all that weight on his chest, he'll be stoop-shouldered like an old man in a short time. We rather expected this, though, when we saw Gene in his uniform for the first time at Camp Perry. Well, I must leave this lovely party and drift on. 18
