CLASS POEM, 1935 BY KARL KANE The time has come when we must go From our dear Troy Highg But in our hearts we have a love, A love which will not die. We've seen the school launch forth and grow 'Neath colors that are pureg And this alone is proof to us That her name will endure. We don't know where the days have gone, 'They have so quickly flowng But we are sure of this one fact, In knowledge We have grown. We've learned to reverence God and man, To curb each evil deedg And in the years that be behind, We've slowly sown our seed. And some day we may reap with joy The harvest that it yieldsg And, as we go from Troy High, Pass on to greater fields. . A word we have to those behind, Our friends in T. H. S.g It is that they must help promote Her innate nobleness. 4'
