The sophomore class officers are from bottom to top: Sponsor Sharon Dwyer. Treas. Donald Neumann. Sec. Beth Marriott. Vice-Pres. Scott Davis, and Pres. Lee Jordan. The farmers’ strike started December 14. 1977. Farmers were striking for 100% parity. Some of the sophomores were asked what they thought of it. Lee Culp: Good, they need to make money. Jim Dubach: Good, because they need to make money, but I don't think they are going about it in the right way. David Hull: Good, they deserve to make a profit. Don Neumann: Good and bad. they need to make more money, but they are trying too hard. Paul Neumann: Good, they need to make more money. Ron Neumann: Good, if they cut down on production demands. Elizabeth Tucker: Good, they need to stick to their rights.
