In April of 1974 the partons of U.S.D. No. 429 of Troy, gave solid support to their schools by passing the first major school bond in almost fifty years. While for some school districts, a $700,000 school bond would not be considered a large issue, it was in- deed a major breakthrough for the Troy district and everyone who supported the issue and had an active part in getting the job done, should feel proud of this accomplishment. The 1974-75 school term has been a good one with very few problems. This is a tribute to students, par- ents and school personnel in working together to accomplish satisfactory results. I feel that we have one of the better school systems for our classification size and we can still make it even better by adding courses in Art and Vocational Educa- tion as soon as it becomes economically possible. Our athletic teams, musical organizations and speech drama groups have represented our school well this year. Our FT A teams have done very well in their contests and we are proud of the work and efforts of our Kayettes, Student Council, Pep Club and Cheer- leaders. Our newspaper and yearbook staffs have put in much time and effort to publish school events and we appreciate their fine work. On behalf of the board of education and myself, I extend our heartiest congratu- lations to all participants and sponsors. As we approach die end of our associations with the seniors, we commend them on a job well done and de- sire that they go on to become worthwhile citizens wherever they are. W. F. Wilson, Supt. U.S.D. No. 429 Sec. Nell Larzelere and Supt. W. F. Wilson. Mrs. N. Larzelere, Mr. R. Meng, Mr. A. Fenley, Mr. N. Davies, Mr. E. Speaks, Mr. R. Gaul, Supt. W. Wilson. 6
