Music And Special Education MARILYN MILLER BME, Fort Hayes KSC Okay, People.11 DAVID FACER-Special Education BSE, Missouri Western College How many push-ups do you want to bet on that? Independent Study Added Miss Marilyn Miller and Mr. Clifford Manning headed the music department at THS. Miss Miller instructed Junior High Chorus. Mr. Manning taught chorus and band, and gave lessons in an independent study pro- gram. This was to give students a chance to study on a one-to-one basis with the teacher, and to improve in their difficult areas. When asked about his reaction to the program, Johnathan Bascom replied, I bene- fitted from the personal attention and help he gave me. Mr. David Fager, instructor of special eduction, was new to THS this year. His students had several inter- esting projects, including making ecology boxes for the Co-op Building and making Christmas cards for an art contest.
