Q ...How we planned on going to Lincoln City for our picnic when we were sopho- E mores and ended up going to Lincoln Ferry Park.J..........The biology trips we J took when we were sophomores............lhen Don Poole and Paul lasterson 5 began fighting before Geography class started because Paul called us 'Green 2 Freshmen ............How Lucille Weedman's laugh affected everyone............ 5 How we missed Roy Wise and his mules, Kate and Jack............How happy we ' were when lies Burke said she would speak at our com encement exerclses....... 5 .....How we enjoyed those educational pictures as well as the others.......... 5 ..lhen Priscilla said 'wratten' for 'written' in the oratorlcal contest....... 5 .....How nervous we were before we gave our speeches............The icy water S of Twin Caves at Spring Mill, for once some of the seniors got cold feet...... 2 ......How we tried to keep our room clean and those juniors messed it up again 5 ............How the senior girls supplied the junior boys with pencils, paper 2 and candy............When we were freshmen and Hr. Hunier was going to install 2 a party line for lalinda leunler, Juanita Edwards and Clara Lamar so they 4 could get their algebra............How we fussed about getting gypped out of a 2 hike when we were freshmen...........How we always had to hunt class rooms for 5 history and government classes, the Home Ee. room, the gym, the stage, the 3 dressing room and last of all the office. It's a good thing we had a small 4 class............Hcw proud we were to have the county winner in the oratorical 2 contest............The record in attendance we held as sen1ors............How 4 the other kids were afraid to come into our room when school started. They 2 would stand at the door and holler for us when they wanted to talk to us...... 4 ......How 'Lefty' Cravens cleaned up that bottle of ink he knocked over. He 2 just used a package of typing paper and a dozen large lnk blotters............ 3 The time Lee spilled his ink all over his desk, bookkeeping books and himself. 9 ...........lhen and how Maurice and his chair slid down ln the office during 5 government............How we all jumped every time the telephone rang during Q government class when we were in the off1ce......,.....The times we had get- ' ting out the 'Trojan'............What a time we had getting the practice sets ' in bookkeeping............How cold it was when we had to get ads for the Tro- jan, but lt was fun............lhat a time Lee had getting out the sports page l of the TroJan............When we were freshmen and Clara Lamar broke the heel ' off of her shoe before the operetta 'Nifty Shop.' The show must go on........ .....The times we had on those skating parties and how Maurice was always - cleaning up the floor............Those two junior boys who wouldn't put on a pair of skates because they were afraid they would fall............The fun we I had at the Valentine party learning to square dance............How mad the ' seniors of '48' got when we wouldn't let them read their prophec1es....... ... The time when Hr. Walk let Lee have his Buick to take us to get ads for the , annual and Lee had to fix a flat tire before we could go, we thought there was a catch to lt............When we measurered for capa and gowns and lalinda had to sit down so lr. Hall could measure her head............The fun we had choos- 5 ing a play. We read about ten before we made up our m1nds............When lr. Walk asked Norma Uinchell why she didn't sit down during General Business W class and she told him her desk Cseatj was broke............When we were jun- iors and won the softball tournament............Bow we enjoyed preparing meals 5 when we were sophomores............When we were juniors and popped corn for Q the ball games, we ate as much as we popped............How we enjoyed going to g the ball games on the bus, it seems as though some of the freshmen girls en- 3 joyed it very much............The time we had taking pictures in the snow..... 5 .......Bow the boys went wild over the new student, Beverly Vaught............ A The day Mr. Hall wanted to ring the bell and got the rope instead............
