These pupils were: Q E Ada Adkins, Geraldine Jones, Mary Agnes Huff, Viola Wittman, Imogene Foerster, 1 E Esther Klueh, Joy Howe, Robert Fuchs, Donald Steen, Ashley Scott, Donald Mo- 3 a shenek, Joyce Aldridge, Ruth Blue, Virginia Brinksneader, Paul Munier, Donald 5 Tuggle, Clarence Schulthise, Earl Cravens, Delbert Wittman, Marcella Huebsch- g Q man, Mary Frances Fuchs, Bertilla Edwards, Carl Young, Zelma Kessans, Clara 5 I Kuntz, Rachel Poole, Maxine Humphrey, and Marjorie Brumfield, Ada Adkins and 5 ? Robert Fuchs withdrew from our class after Christmas, but a new member, Louise 5 Q Doody, came to our school from Chicago in the month of March. This left us 1 , with twenty-seven members at the end of our Freshmen year. Z Q Our Freshmen officers were: President-Ruth Blue, Vice-president-Marcella 1 Huebschmang Secretary-treasurer-Clara Kuntzg Student council members-Clarence 5 f Schulthise and Joyce Aldridge: Class reporter-Joyce Aldridge. Mr. Walk was 5 our class sponsor. 2 E The boys that were on the basketball team were: Earl Cravens, Carl Young, 3 a Ash Scott, Don Steen, Don Moshenek, Clarence Schulthise, Don Tuggle, and Paul S Munier. . 5 E Joyce Aldridge won the Home Economics medal and Marcella Huebschman was 5 E awarded the scholarship award. 3 - 4 5 When we came back as Sophomores, we found that Imogene Foerster, Carl Young 2 Esther Klueh, Zelma Kessans, Louise Doody, Maxine Humphrey, and Mary Agnes Q Q Huff had not returned. We had three new members: James Kuntz, who had bee: E 1 attending school in St. Louis: John Brock, who returned from the army: and Q . Margaret Hattenbach, who had been attending school in Tell City. Bertilla Ed- 2 1 Wards and Rachel Poole withdrew from our class leaving us to finish our Sopho- 5 - more year with twenty-one members. 3 e e Boys on the basketball team this year were: James Kuntz, Earl Cravens, Ash 5 j Scott, Clarence Schulthise, Don Steen, Don Tuggle, and Paul Munier. 2 Three girls from our general business class were chosen to entel a com er- 2 fg cial contest held at Dale. These girls were Joyce Aldridge, Viola Wittman, S 7 and Marcella Huebschman. Viola won first place and was awarded a gold medal 5 j and the girls won first place as a team. Viola was also awarded the Home Eco- j f nomics medal and Earl Cravens received an award in basketball for having the 5 Q best percentage in foul shooting. 2 E Our Sophomore officers were: President-James Kuntzg Vice-president-Ruth 2 Q Blue: Secretary-treasurer-Clarence Schulthiseg Student council members-Paul 5 X Munier and Bertilla Edwards: and Reporter-Clara Kuntz. For our class sponsor 5 Q we chose Miss Holladay. 5 E When we returned as Juniors we were sorry to see that we had lost four more E 2 of our classmates. They were: Virginia Brinksneader, Clara Kuntz, Donald 3 . Tuggle, and Delbert Wittman. John Brock withdrew soon after school started S Q but again we also gained a new member, Beverly Vaught, who came to our school 3 l from Calhoun, Kentucky. E L Our Junior class officers were: President-Ruth Blue: Vice-president-Joy 3 f Howe: Secretary-treasurer-Marcella Huebschmang Student council members-Paul S : Iunier and Beverly Vaughtg and Reporter-Ruth Blue. We chose Mr. Munier for 1 5 our class sponsor. 3 'A a i All the boys started on the basketball team, but Paul Munier, Don Moshenek, i Q and Don Steen, withdrew later in the season.
