MNWIWRXWBX-law T-fi-IYAIN Mm W 'V VAWNQIINWV fX NIX-IM6 AKA Vmflrn Mvmmiwl ZYIVRVYESTFK MM4 X 'V' ,muy M CLASS PROPHECY Dear Teachers and Students of Troy High School Since we need a long rest to take our minds off our present responsibill ties, we shall visit with the Senior Class of '49 We have our suitcases packed including our tooth brush and comb Because we are the only ones who are sent on such a vacation, we are very happy to report the happenings of each stop off station Due to certain circumstances we have run a little low on that stuff called money, so we decided to go to the bank in Chicago, Illinois, and whom should we see but Betty Jean Snyder, who is now a private secretary to the President of the bank Betty Jean had done very well for herself for there is soon to be a wedding and she will come walking down the aisle to become the bride of her employer Leaving Chicago we happened to see a little farm house outside the city limits, and stopped to look around A neat looking woman came to the door After she greeted us, we recognized her to be the former Clara Lamar, who is now Mrs Charles B inksneader They are making a successful living raising everything from vegetables to four little Brinksneaders Continuing on our journey by train we met an old acquaintance, Priscirh husband, Linus Linne We were Cravens, who is on her way to meet her future famous singing star, but will surprised to hear that Priscilla has become a soon retire to become a housewife a little stimulation so coming Imagine our astonishment when who should appear to wait on us but Lee Moshenek who is the proud owner of this store He has everything for sale from champagne to Alexanders, and we feel sure that in time to come this place will be a rendezvous for the sur rounding com unity After coming this far we decided we needed to a brightly lighted liquor store we went in Passing through a small town about like Troy we happened to see a large hardware store and looking through the window we saw another student of Troy High School, Juanita Engelbrecht, so we went in to talk to her She says she is now the manager of this store, but also has another job, taking care of the little Wells Arriving in Hollywood, California, we noticed a brightly lighted dance hall and after furth r investigation we found that the program featured the music of Smokey McCoy Guess who the proprietor of this lively little place 1 That's right! Margorie Winkler She is now married to Bill Vanconia and they are having a wonderful time bringing up their little Vanconlas to be nice lit tle ladies and gentlemen Coming into the small town of New York, we felt sure that we would be in need of some life insurance, as things were moving so fast we could hardly keep up with our adventures We were glad to see another of our friends from Troy High School Behind the desk was Mallnda Meunier, who is making very good use of her ability in typing and shorthand, that she acquired from dear old Troy High School Melinda is now very happily married to Bruce Richard son Bruce takes care of the house while Melinda works in the office New our vacation is at an end We are feeling a lot better, but our minds will carry an imprint of each of the Seniors We are proud of what the Class of '49 has accomplished, and we hope that their success in life will continue Cordially yours, awww M W Class of '50 A59 a X '5 4. Q To Mr. Walk, the sponsor of the Trogan, we will a lot of boys in the Senior , 5 classes hereafter, so he won't have o worry about getting the paper out on 5 J time. 9 g We will to Kiss Conway, Senior Classes that are dignified. 0ur class never U E was dignified and Miss Conway certainly had a time trying to control it. 5 To Miss Simpson, our music teacher, we will a music ronm instead of a Q dressing room in which to hold her classes. 5' We will to Miss Holladay, more quiet Home Ec. classes like the ones were ' E when we were in class. : Q To Mr. Munier, we will a rod and reel, so long that he can come to school J 5 and fish at the same time. Q E We will to the incoming Freshmen, a class so large that it will never lack S E anything, including men. I E To the present Freshmen class, we will a room of their own equipped with a 3 E lot of card tables. We also will them all the experience we have collected.
