They were: Charles B ink- 3 gg sneader, John B ock, James Kuntz, Donald Poole, Joe Saunders, Maurice Shep- Q , g hard, Roy Wise, Charles Young, Betty Lou Abney, Berneta Anthony, Priscilla Q 5 ggxveng, Juanita Edwzrdsi Juanigatfngglbrechti Belgn apple, Milgred Foesster, 4 32 a ess g ara nn amar e y oren, a n a eun er ar een core 3 tv Mary Iris Scott, Betty Jean Snyder, Mildred Sturgeon, Lucille Weedman, Olive ,g Q June Wheeler, Norma Winchell and Margorie Winkler. Q . Within less than a week or school, Betty Lou Abney and Mildred sturgeon lf E, withdrew. The rest of us went on together hoping we could finish the year e f without losing any more members. Before our Freshman year was completely over Y E Joe Saunders, Olive June Wheeler and Berneta Anthony withdrew. Q Q Our Freshman year meant a year of hard work for all of us, but the class ? Q' felt the need of an education and kept right on. The class officers for this Q Q year were: president-Mary Iris Scotty vice-president-Charles Youngg secretary- 3 3 treasurer-Maurice Shephard: student-council-members-Donald Poole and Juanita 1 Q Edwards: class reporter-Betty Jean Snyder. Mr. Munier was our class sponsor. 2 4. J T After a year of hard work we were advanced to the rank of iophomores. We 2 5 hoped that this number would remain until they became Sen ore ut when we re- Q 'F entered to take up our further duties as Sophomores the total dropped from Q Q twenty-seven to fifteen. This road was not as hard and our work and activ- 1 'f ities were more successful. Our class officers were: president-Juanita Engel- 5 ig . brechtg vice-president-Betty Jean Snyderg secretary-treasurer-Juanita Edwardsg Q g student-council-Maurice Shephard and Mary Iris Scottgreporter-Juanita Edwards. Q W Miss Ruth Holladay was our class sponsor. 5 52 We felt that we could travel more swiftly now, since we had already com- 3 M' pleted two years of school. When we returned for our Junior year we found J Pf that seven more of our members failed to return. With the remaining seven 4 f girls and one boy, we completed our Junior year. Our class officers were: 1 ',: Melinda Meunierg vice-president-Maurice Shephard: secretary-treasurer-Clara A , Ann Lamarg student-council-Maurice Shephard and Priscilla Cravens. Priscilla Q 1 was also our reporter. Mr. Munier was our class sponsor. Clara Lamar won t e g x Home Ec. medal, Melinda Meunier won the shorthand award, Juanita Engelbrecht Q f won the sewing award and Betty Jean Snyder won the activities medal. 5 F This year, our Senior year, the enrollment for our class was eight. Al- Q 5 though we lost one member we also gained one member. Lucille Weedman failed Q Q' to return this year. Lee' Moshenek entered our class at the beginning of the P 5 year. We went on with these eight members until February when Maurice Shep- ' 3 hard-quit. Of the original twenty-seven members of this class, seven have 3 3 remained and are now ready to graduate. After four years of hard work we have J S now reached the goal we have been striving toward. ' 5 . - g Our class officers are: president-Malinda Meunierg vice-president-Begty 5 T Jean Snyder' secretary-treasurer-Clara Lamar' and student-council-members ee K 2 Moshenek and Juanita Engelbrecht. Margorie Winkler is our reporter. Mr. Hall 'E 5 is our sponsor. Betty Jean Snyder won the D.A.R. contest in our school this S 'year. Priscilla Cravens won the Oratorical contest. Priscilla has also been 5 Q - 'g a cheerleader for two years. Betty Jean was elected cheerleader this year. 5 ', 3 The class motto is, nToday Decides Tomorrow.' The red carnation was chosen 5 U E as the class flower and the class colors are gray and blue. The valedictorian 3 L. ' E for our class.is Betty Jean Snyder and the salutatorian is Clara Lamar. 3 1 , Q . 12 1 E , Our Baccalaureate tspeaker was Reverend Father DeJean, the Commencement 5 Ut ' E speaker was Miss Mary C.
