The cheer leaders work hard to lead the cheer- ing section to back the team. The cheer leaders from left to right are: Pris- cilla Cravens, Hazel Howe and Ruth Collignon. . Last year one of our cheer leaders, Georgia Ann Cravens, graduated and another one, Juanita Edwards, withdrew from school, leaving only one cheer lead- er, Hazel Howe. We had four candidates selected to try for these vacancies. They were Clara Kuntz, a sophomore, Priscilla Cravens and Petty Jean Snyder, juniors, and Ruth Colllgnon, a senior. The student body elected Priscilla Cravens and Ruth Colllgnon. With the cheering section the three girls have backed and followed their team faithfully. We hope that Pris- Hazel Howe has served as cheer leader for three years, starting ln her Sophomore year with Martha Sue Aldridge and G argia Ann Cravens. ln her Junior year she was with Georgia Ann Cravens and Juanita Edwards. Hazel is 13 years old, is 5 feet and 2 inches tall, has dark brown hair and hazel eyes, Priscilla Cravens is a Junior. She was elected thls year to fill one of the vacancies. Priscilla is ld years old, ls 5 feet lj inches tall, has brown hair and blue eyes. hutn Colllgnon ls a Senior. Ruth was elected this year to fill a vacancy. Ruth is 17 years old, is 5 feet li inches tall, has brown hair and blue eyes. The ylrls had new costumes this year. They were ureen pleated skirts wlth gold cardipan sweaters and green dlckies. They also wore their other suits which are ireen vored skirts with green rullover sweaters and gold dickles.
