Aiiiixiiit t SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Colors: Orchid and silver Motto: Today decides tomorrow Flower: White gardenia ACT I Time: 1937 Place: McCray-Dewey Township H1 School iRows one and two The curtain rose on fifteen boys and fifteen girls who entered asnfresh- iesn at Troy High. There they were the center of attraction, seated in the freshman rows. When they organized they selected Miss Lenz as advisor and A1 Weider as president. The first time they made their appearance was in a play under the direction of Miss Koen- eke. The two social events of the year were a Valentine Party and a hike to Langewisch's pasture. ACT II Time: 1958 Place: Rows three and four of Troy High School As sophomores the class began with great enthusiasm, the second act of the drama of school life. Three of the mem- bers, Laurence Gusewelle, Alvera Weise- meyer, and Iola Carter dropped out, but the number was soon raised to twenty- nine, with Lorine Wagner and Charles Gebhart.' Mr. Wagner was selected as class advisor and Millie-Marie Collins as president. The social events of the year were a hike, skating party, and a party at school. ACT III Time: 1959 Place: Rows five and six of Troy High School September met the class as juniors and mighty juniors with the weight of many subjects and extra-curricular re- sponsibilities upon their shoulders. From the beginning they were industri- ous, working on the play and planning for the first prom ever given in Troy High. The play, nCampus Quarantinen, was a tremendous success with lots of laughs. This year, Mr. Seifferman was chosen class advisor and Delbert Hanke, president. ACT IV Time: 1940 Place: Senior Home Room---The English- Latin Room Now the characters of this drama are twenty-five seniors who have their superiorities. Miss Baker was selected as class advisor and the following officers were elected: President--Audrey Hood, Vice-
