Academics Most of the day of a student is spent in school. Thus it is important to have a responsible administration dedicated teachers, and a suitable curriculum. The courses of study at Troy High School are set up to fit the needs of every student. College preparatory does iust what the name implies - prepares a student for college. Math, chemistry, physics, English, and many foreign languages are offered to give these students the opportunity to absorb as much technical knowledge as necessary. The business courses teach students the skills that are desperately needed in the business world. Industrial arts covers metal and wood work, welding mechanics, graphic arts, and electricity. The home economics classes teach girls and boys the fundamentals of cooking, sewing, interior decorating and home nursing. Many of the faculty either have their master degrees or are working towards them. And the administration is the best. All of them are dedicated, instilling Truth, Honor and Sportsmanship in the students of Troy High School.
