Vesper Class Colors: Gold and White ln the fall of l945, we prospectors, equipped with a certain amount of gray matter and a little melnltal ability, entered Troy High, hoping to find a gold mine of information and to lay a claim to some solid facts. After panning out our Freshman woes, we began exploring new clubs and activities in our Sophomore year. Remember the first year of A Cappella Choir and the new Dramatic Club. Junimore and Hi-Y also kept the '49ers busy. Ahl At last we became upper classmen. We realTy began to dig in . The highlights of l947-48 were The Desert Song , The Prom , A Date With Judy , and of course Senior Farewell Chapel. We '49ers began tearing the pages from the calendar as our great adventure drew to a close. After the Minstrel , and Life With Father , we began to reach our goal as Farewell Chapel, Bacca- laureate, and Commencement followed in turn. We did not find a gold mine, but unlike gold, we gained an education that will be with us all through life, and we shall always cherish the ideals of T. H. S .... Truth, Honor, Sportsmanship.
